The first thing I ever made for my mum was a knitted cowl. The only thing she asked was that it match my dad's #vrodmotorcycle. Now 10 years later after being on the phone catching up on our busy week my mum mentioned that she had misplaced the cowl I made for her. How she has always cherished the few things I have made for her over the years. If it wasn't for my mum I would have never known the joy of hooks, needles, and have my monster yarn stash that takes up almost every room of our home. If it wasn't for my mum my hands would be useless due to my #arthritis that I was diagnosed with as a teenager. Without my mum buying me my first few bundles of #yarn #crochethooks #knittingneedles I'd never know how to deal with stress or simply express my affections for others. I'm an introvert to the 10th power my #knitting #crochet helps me to speak the words I'm lacking. So when my mother told me she had lost her cowl you bet I went in search through my #monsteryarnstash #interchangeableneedles and whipped up another #cowl for her. Thank you mum for teaching me so many life lessons by simply introducing me to my #hobby.
