Newest update on our house's need for maintenance. Got a call this morning stating that the company received my latest request for maintenance. That due to our stuff being in the house no work could be done. I told the lady that with 8 people living in the home, a pandemic going on, so extra food items, a bedroom not in use the house would be extra cluttered seeing as two children no longer have a room they can currently use let alone sleep in. I even informed her that her workers stated they would be back that afternoon never to be seen nor heard from. That I had moved everything out of that current work space. So Now I'm having to put our belongings out in the backyard, have the house inspected, to see if any work could be done. But oh hey if you or the kids fall through the floor no big deal. By the way the company is JRJ Building or Arkansas Homes and rentals located out of Cabot, Arkansas. Oh did I mention it's suppose to rain in the next few days.
Had an appointment for our house to be (inspected) for work to be done...over an hour later...no call, no show...not answering phone.
Four hours later...No work will be done on the house, until we move out, but we won't be evicting you because legally we can't and your paying rent. The whole house needs to be done at one time, not section by section you are in the way...no rental pod, no temporary housing or storage rental, again you are in the way. We could have everything done in under a week if you and your stuff was out. Because it's our stuff and not their fault the house is falling apart. So that sums up As the House Falls Apart. Now to make new arrangements!
