Surrounded by 5 brothers, my precious little girl loves everything from five nights at Freddy's, to horror movies like Annabelle like her papa. But every once in a while something pink and pretty, girly catches her eye. It's rare and far between that I get to spoil her with nice little things. I saw this cute girly pink Unicorn and my first thought was "Oh my, how my sweet Clementine would love this." It took me longer than usual since my youngest has started walking and wants to be everywhere his siblings are, all the time. You'd think this little ten month old boy would get worn out and need a long nap, but no, he keeps trucking along like his siblings. Between his walking and waiting for this last front tooth to break through this pour fussy baby has days where momma needs to be within an arms length, like a little cling on monkey. Two months it took me to finally go from start to finish instead of the typical couple of days even with homeschooling and therapy. The boys even tried to help with calling the hairless unicorn a donkey. Last Monday was it. I strapped my bum to a chair and started #crocheting #unicorn hair. Miss Clementine was thrilled and even though miss pony still needed bangs and a tail begged to take her to bed. After finishing the bangs and tail I had to pry my sweet sleeping girls arms so I could sew them on to surprise her when she woke in the morning. This momma crocheting and sewing till after midnight just to finish to make my little girl's day. That next morning and since that sweet little girl has had that little #yarncreation in her hands nonstop. It's the simple things we do for each other that make it all worth while. Seeing someone else cherish your years and years of plucking away at fibers to make a little girl's dream come true. 13 years ago I would have never dreamed of Making such beautiful, personal crochets and knits for my loved ones #largefamily #largefamilylife #homestead #mommaofsix #mommaofmany #homeschooling #prettyinpink #pinkunicorn
