September Birthdays

Updated: Oct 1, 2019

Two of my kiddos share a birthday in September. Declan is in the beginning and Quentin is towards the end. Now before I had so many kiddos I use to do all the fixings and make personal cakes to go along with their current interests. Well sadly the momma has gotten out of that habit, I'm hoping with next year to get back into it. So instead I let the kiddos pick out their favorite dinner and gluten free cakes with a cream cheese icing.

Declan's favorite has always been to have tacos, with the surprise of a lemon cake with a coconut pecan icing. Declan is really big on adult coloring books and wood searches. This kiddo loves to constantly be busy as of late he has taken to using his tablet while we are at therapy or even around the house to color pictures. He's been using the calming nature of coloring to ease is anxiety, plus he loves keeping his hands busy. Declan is also my kiddo that is a huge fan of Pokemon. So he got a bunch of little pokemon figures that are pocket size. along with a carring case. Coloring books, new art supplies, army figures, a math book to color by number, another nintendo game to share with the siblings and a carring pad to use in the van while on our trips out and about, mostly while in the van during therapy. (Which has been a lot since my youngest Lincoln is in the teething stage) We also went to a park near our house to let the kiddos play and take a bit of a nature walk.

For Quentin's Birthday we had pizza rolls, I know not the healthiest of meals but birthdays are one of the few days we will cheat and have something fun. Quentin picked out a chocolate cake with a baby shark blue icing a little shark sprinkles. This whole month the kids and I have taken to doing the baby shark ab challenge. We staterd as a haha how cute kind of a thing never really thinking it would stick. BUT stick it has Both Clementine and Quentin have gotten into the habit of youtubing the video everynight before bed and doing the easy minute and a half challenge. It has become routine. It's become a fun thing for me and the too little ones to do together. Quentin is a huge fan of Aquaman and other heros. so he got a few of the 12 inch figures Aquaman, Spidey, Captian, Batman, Black panther and this kiddo carries them around the house in a backpack ready to drop and play. He also got some Hero undies and monster socks. Yes potty training for this little guy has begun. Hoping to be back to one kiddos in diapers. Sadly it was raingin for his Birthday so we weren't able to go to Petite Jean to hike the waterfall trail so we will have to plain on another day, weekend trip to take hubby and the kids. Luckily it's getting cooler so looking forward to getting to go before all the leaves drop to get some great pictures of the kids.
