The Cactus Dude, The Beginning!

My husband is always sending me #knitting #crochet pattern links through my Facebook and texting my phone of patterns he comes across. Even though he himself doesn't knit or crochet he always finds the most adorable things to add to my my neverending #ravelry #etsy carts. This pattern for the #crochet cactus dudes has been on the top of my list for a while now for several reasons. First they are adorable, second for a gift for my parents. A few years ago my father went crazy with collecting different cacti. He filled my parents house and their outside garden with cactus galore. These little dude would make a great gift for his interests along with my mother's who loves any little trinket I create. This little and his following comrades will look great on her window sill in front of the sink. Little did I plan on my kids falling in love with these little guys and have a started pleading for their own sets, along with multiple changes of hats. On the next few weeks be on the look out for future adaptations of these fun little guys. Pattern link can be found here https://www.ravelry.com/designers/misssberlin

Making the feet, then adding the body and head in one piece.

Little dude all crocheted up, next up a little hat.

The hats all worked up, now to weave in the ends and work on the little bud and flower.

Time for a little photo shoot in a pot. Next up on my hook is a few more comrades for this lonely little guy!
